You may receive emails that attempt to collect your personal and confidential account information. These scams are often referred to as phishing.

Wachovia does not send emails asking you to provide, update or verify your personal, account or other confidential information. Wachovia does not send emails with links directing customers to other sites.

Security procedures at Wachovia recommend:
  The use of new 2048-bit certificate.
   The use of a token as a Secondary Authentication tool if users initiate wires, payments, perform system administration activities, or use more than one computer.
