Wachovia customer please be aware that there is an email based scam that may reference Wachovia Connection.
You may receive emails that attempt to collect your personal and confidential account information. These scams are often referred to as phishing.
A phishing email may fraudulently state that your account has been deactivated, or some other problem has arisen, and that you are required to update your account.
Wachovia does not send emails asking you to provide, update or verify your personal, account or other confidential information. Wachovia does not send emails with links directing customers to other sites.

The use of new 2048-bit certificate.
